Salix always seem to be innovating. Last year they had the CTS edge and this year they’re back with QR codes (meaning you can scan your bat using your mobile phone, for all knocking in info), wacky palmed gloves and a new Salix Strike bat.

The new gloves look spectacular and the Salix strike which was on offer for the day was up there with the Newbery Cenkos in terms of looks. We’re yet to get an idea on pricing, but another strong range from Salix, as usual.

  1. Ive had the pod urban gloves since the begining of the year, i managed to get hold of a pair sam northeast had been trialing before his move to slazenger. I must say the gloves are amazing. normally i get through two or three pairs a season, however these have lasted the whole year, the sweat absorption on the gloves is second to none and the palms have retain their grip through hours and hours of use.
