For 2012 Salix have introduced new graphics and a new bat. The ‘Strike. The Salix Strike is based on the Gem – one of Salix’ first bats – and is ideally shaped for limited overs. It’s following the Mongoose trend of reduced length but also reduces blade width by 1/4″ to give a larger profile.

The other 3 bats, the Falx, Pod and Praestantia remain very similar to previous models but with a refreshed and updated look. Which needless to say with Salix is clean and classy. The prices are reasonable with top range bats all retailing around the £300 mark.
