You may remember earlier in the year we posted the first videos of the new Gray Nicolls Australia range, feautring the A61 and Colossus.

Well here’s the first pics of the A61. The name A61 derives from the height of the spine, or apex. It’s a new design from Gray Nicolls moving away from the trend of bats with huge edges. The edges are still a reasonable size, but emphasis is placed on the spine to make it 61mm high. Hence the name, A61 or Apex 61.
