Having visited Gray Nicolls HQ in Robertsbridge today, Cricket Insight can exclusively reveal that GN will be adding the “Maverick” to their range for 2013. The Maverick will be, England’s captain, Andrew Strauss’s weapon of choice for the 2013 season – with its first outing being at the Kia Oval when England take on the touring South Africans.

With striking Orange and Black decals the Maverick is a full bodied bat with very little concaving. Featuring a Mid placed sweetspot, an even bow and rounded spine throughout the blade this bat is sure to be a hit with batsman across the country.

The Maverick will be released with a full range of soft goods and a holdall. The full GN range of bats for the UK’s 2013 season will be: Powerbow, Oblivion, Kaboom, A61, E41, Maverick, Dynadrive and the Scoop will also be making a return with a new price point added.
