For 2013 GN have introduced 4 new ranges to compliment their existing Legend, Powerbow, Kaboom, Oblivion and Scoop models.
As 2013 is a back-to-back Ashes tour year, two bats have been borrowed from our counterparts down-under at GN Australia:
The A61 – So called due to its huge 61mm Apex. Featuring huge edges, a steady concave and an elongated sweet spot the A61 is set to be a hit with the big hitters and purists alike. The A61 is available in the 4* and LE range – it will be used and endorsed by Aussie talisman Shaun Marsh.
The E41 – Which features 41mm edges creating a fearsome middle. This model features much less concaving than the A61 and comes with understated silver and black decals. The E41 is available in the 5* and LE range.
The “Heritage” range has a new addition in the form of the reincarnation of the Dynadrive which was originally made popular in the 60′s. Featuring updated branding the back cutouts allow the Dynadrives to have large edges whilst maintaining a light pickup. This model will be released in November 2012 and will set customers back around £200. Meanwhile the Scoop remains in the 2013 range with a new lower grade G3 English Willow model called the “Force” being released – coming in just shy of £120 it is sure to be a best seller.
The final addition to the range is the Maverick which will be used by England captain Andrew Strauss. With striking Orange and Black decals the Maverick is a full bodied bat with very little concaving. Featuring a Mid placed sweetspot, an even bow and rounded spine throughout the blade this bat is sure to be a hit with batsman across the country. The Maverick will be released with a full range of soft goods and a holdall.

The Dynadrive didn’t exist in the 60s – it was the late 80s/early 90s…
Seems like they have adopted the same pressing as laver use on their ultra bats, judging by those pics
The faces of the bats had all been pressed very flat to enhance the edge size
loving the dynadrive, cant wait to see it in the flesh. i wonder if kookaburra will follow suit and go retro after gunn moore & grays
i like how grays have a retro and modern range of kit it suits all types
when do these bats officially come out?
Available in all stores around November.
The bats look very cool
James Taylor, has signed with GN and will use the Maverick
I’m getting a new cricket bat: should I get the e41 or the a61?
