The Gray Nicolls Legend range is back
Initially released for the 2012 UK season, the Legend range sold so well it has been commissioned again for a 2013 release.
The soft leather goods have been updated with a much plainer look. The gloves now sport an attractive all white ‘Shark Tooth’ design. All finger sections feature ultra lightweight Poly Armour plating with the first two bottom hand fingers containing CCT materials for extra protection. Unusually the thumb section is now a three pieced design compared to the two piece design seen in most gloves, this will allow a greater range of movement within the thumb.
The Pads are also almost entirely white on the front apart from a small GN logo on the bottom. The ankle and calf straps are both 2″ wide ensuring comfort and security. A medium density, closed cell, Diffuser Foam is used throughout the inner padding and top hat to distribute the force of a hit through the polymer structure.
The Wicket Keeping range, unlike the 2012 offering, now features a pair of pads, again these are very plain but of the highest quality. The gloves were developed in conjunction with Gilbert Rugby and GN’s sponsored players such as , again they have gone for the minimalistic look and are sure to be a hit with keepers up and down the country.
A very large kit bag will also be released and will retail for around £100.
As a reminder the entire GN Range for 2013 is:
Legend
Powerbow
Oblivion
Kaboom
Maverick
A61
E41
Scoop
Dynadrive
