What bat is Ravi Bopara using?
Some of the more eagle eyed of you may have spotted Ravi Bopara sporting a new bat. Earlier in the year Bopara switched from Gunn & Moore to Indian manufacturer Sareen Sports. With that he moved away from the classically branded bats to the brasher SS branded bats.

However whilst playing for England against Australia in the ODI’s, we once again saw another sticker change – to a TON branded bat. TON is the name, more often seen stamped into SS bats to identify them as SS manufactured bats.
We caught up with Jatin Sareen, head of Sareen Sports Industries. Who confirmed that the sticker change was a new line of Sareen Sports made bats. The first range of bats will be released under the name of the TON Ltd Edition and the TON Max Power. You will see them hitting the shelves in late 2012. Keep an eye out on Cricket Insight for more information on the new SS & TON ranges.
