Forum member, and Chichester based retailer today visited the GN factory to handpick bats. Huge thanks to them we've got our share of some photos, take a look below.

Great work yet again

Love the look of that oblivion/prototype bat

Surprised with how many Legends have heartwood.

And quite surprised how badly the bats are stacked.

(Sorry Tom I can't seem to get the picture copied from my iPhone)

Firstly thanks to Tom for getting the pictures on, my computer skills are somewhat limited!!! We had a great day it really is an awesome place for any cricket fanatic thanks go out to all the gray nicolls staff for making us so welcome . The prototype bat was fantastic weighed about 3lb 2oz but picked up amazingly well for such a big bat. Good for driving but cutting and pulling might be a bit tricky!! I was surprised with the legends as well, again though the pick up on them all was second to none and I'm sure they would all go well. I know the bats look messy but they are actually stacked very well that is until we went through them and messed them up!! The bats we picked will be hitting the shop soon.

I'd be a bit pissed off if I'd paid £400 for a legend and got the 6 grainer in the pics!
